About: Julie Sanderson
Painting is good for the soul and I hope my works depict my love of the craft. I am especially interested in light and how it creates wonderful shapes and colors which sometimes last only a few moments. I grew up in Clear Lake City (near Houston) and I am very influenced by the climate, culture and the eclectic mix of people in the Houston area. I strive to keep the works in oil loose and capture moments in time, whether I am doing a portrait, landscape or still life.
